Need advice on
relationships? Want tips for dating? Wish you knew how to
solve love problems? Join our lively and fun version of a
mini love university!
Dr. Jenn hosts a monthly co-ed book club in Denver
for singles to get informed and inspired
to find and create an extraordinary relationship! By discussing
the latest information on dating and relating, everyone will
become empowered to build the relationship they deserve.
But Savvy Singles isn't just your regular book club,
it's designed to be a unique hybrid- part traditional book
club (discussion) and part workshop (presentation of topics
in book). This way you can have fun, make friends, and get
dating support, all while learning something new to help you
get one step closer to creating the relationship you deserve!
Each month the club will choose a new book for singles.
Then we'll meet to discuss the major principles of the book,
what we think about it, and how to apply it in our lives.
The best part? You don't even have to
read the book! Our meetings will provide an overview
of the book for all to discuss.
What people are saying:
"The last book club
discussion we had was very interesting - Jennifer's a great
group organizer with amazing insights about relationships,
and the book was a good choice." - Diane
"Dr Jenn, I enjoyed
the book discussion and you did a fantastic job with the
notes. I was impressed with the way you ran the book club
and I look forward to the next time I can join your group."
- Emmett
"I very much enjoyed
the book club meeting last week. I left with a nice sense
of community and thoughts. I think you did a great job of
facilitating the discussion and thank you for the wonderful
outline. I look forward to the next meeting." - Patti

Surviving
the Difficult Relationship
Have you ever been the victim of a difficult relationship?
Do you seem to find yourself constantly being drawn by the
same type of mate over and over, thinking he or she is the
Perfect Partner until all at once you somehow realize things
are Perfectly Wrong?
Does that relationship end with your self-esteem
in the tank, confused how you got there, depressed over the
outcome, and a bit leery to jump back into the dating pool
again for fear that you'll repeat the scenario yet again?
Or maybe that Difficult Relationship is with your
boss, best friend, parent, or business partner. What then?
Just how can you deal with Difficult People? Sometimes they
seem like they're absolutely everywhere!
Join us in June when local author Mary Jo Fay shares
with us her book "When Your Perfect
Partner Goes Perfectly Wrong ... Loving or Leaving the Narcissist
in Your Life." Fay will teach you to recognize
the "red flags" of difficult, controlling people,
explain their behaviors so that you better understand what
makes them tick, and help you move past any leftover baggage
from people like this so that you don't fall prey to them
again in your future relationships.
