How The Horses Helped Me....

On May 8th, I had the good fortune and blessing to have the opportunity to spend an afternoon with Jennifer and her horses.

From the moment I arrived, I was made to feel welcome, and was received in a professional, yet very personal and friendly manner. I was immediately impressed with Jennifer’s confidence and by the fact that after a brief interview and introductory orientation, we went right into an exercise in which Jennifer had me close my eyes and notice all of the different feelings and sensations in the various areas of my body. It was a very powerful way to begin the afternoon’s healing work.

After taking those few minutes to get attuned to some of the things going on in my body and energy field, we took a tour around the outside to get a feel for which horses I might be drawn to. This also impressed me as an intuitive, intelligent way to enter into any healing work on this day. After spending a little while meeting and saying hello to some of Jenn’s wonderful animals, and enjoying the feeling of being encouraged by her to really get in touch with which animal I might want to choose to work with that day, I finally decided on a beautiful horse which I had connected with near the beginning of the walk.

I was made to feel very comfortable and Jennifer’s techniques were as great as her manner and her professionalism. She asked me a series of questions and had me take a good honest look inside of some of the feelings and energies stored in different parts of my body. This whole process was simple yet very powerful, and Jennifer conducted it in a way that was very useful and just awesome. She approached the whole process with a high level of expertise and as a counselor, yet interacted with me in a way that was friendly and personal, and made me feel relaxed, and facilitated a much greater level of benefit than if she had done it in a strictly clinical or impersonal way. By this I mean I got to the heart of the matter easily and with superb results. It was a pleasure to go through this process with her.

Connecting and communing with the horse I selected during the next part of the afternoon was simply splendid. I went into the session with a specific question and issue. With the techniques and questions utilized by Jennifer, as well as spending time in meditation with this horse, and listening to and feeling impressions shared with me by this horse, or perhaps by the divine intelligence, through this horse and my higher self, I received powerful intuitive guidance and answers, and reinforcement of things I already was aware of, but had not been acting upon. I had a real communion and communication with this horse, or again, perhaps with the divine through this horse. It was a humbling, healing, amazing experience. It reminded me of how simple answers can come, and how just spending time in nature, with the healing presence of a beautiful, loving, graceful animal such as this horse, can be as fulfilling and healing as anything in life. Complications disappeared for those moments, and all that remained was the simplicity and exquisite beauty and nurturing of the truth, expressing itself in the quietude and purity of that communion with that compassionate animal and with the wonderfully compassionate person known as Jennifer Oikle.

I highly recommend taking the opportunity to share this sacred, transformative, healing space with Jennifer and her loving friends. I can only imagine what will unfold and what gifts will be shared and revealed upon future visits, which I fully intend to experience. I wholeheartedly and authentically acknowledge Jennifer as a truly caring, genuinely supportive, kind woman and professional. It’s a real joy to be around her and to work with her.
