Meet Soulmates:
Jasmine and Ann

"Four weeks ago, Jasmine came to live with us – me (a 49-year-old human female) and Oblio (a very male, sometimes aggressive, 18-pound, 10-year-old Tabby).

I knew from the moment I read Dr. Jenn’s description and saw a picture of Jasmine that she would become the newest member of our forever family.

This idea startled me because I had been asking Oblio for years if he’d like a little sister. I never got the “ok” from him. Until Jasmine.

With her, I got that he wanted her to come live with us. I even asked him again right before I went to pick her up. The last thing I wanted was two cats shredding each other in our 700 square-foot home which includes my home office!

I am beyond thrilled by how natural and easy our transition has flowed. I have integrated several cats and knew it would take time. And yet, this time it didn’t.

Jasmine is pure mischievous joy! And she loves to play and sleep with her new big brother.

It feels like Jasmine perfectly fills a void that Oblio and I didn’t exactly know we had!

She brings so much love and energy to our family, to our home. I feel so happy and blessed. And extremely grateful to Dr. Jenn and her Soulmate Kitty Sanctuary.
